About Vicky Wasik Photography
Vicky Wasik is a Brooklyn-based photographer specializing in food, events, portraits, and travel photography. Her photographs have been featured in print and online by publications including Conde Nast Traveler, Huffington Post, Edible Brooklyn, Edible Manhattan, New Orleans Magazine and The New York Times.
Vicky realized her passion for food photography when she was named staff photographer and photo editor at StarChefs.com. Her experiences shooting at New York's top restaurants and cocktail bars inspired her style of highlighting texture and color, representing dishes and drinks as works of art. And yes, she often does get to eat what she photographs! Italian is her favorite cuisine and her cocktail of choice is the Presbyterian at Fort Defiance in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
